Dugout clip vs regular barrel connector, one wins every time

Swapped out a customer's corroded barrel connector in Spokane last month and tried one of those dugout style clips for the first time. Took me about 2 minutes to seat versus fighting the old screw type for 15. Signal meter showed a solid -5 dBmV right away, no retightening needed. I still carry both, but the dugout is my default now unless the box is too tight to fit it. Anyone else run into a fitting where the dugout won't seat right?

Wait, are you saying the dugout clip actually holds up over time? I mean, I was one of those guys who swore by the old screw type for years, figured the clip was just a gimmick. But after seeing your meter reading stay solid, I tried one on a nasty install last week and yeah, it seated way easier than I expected, no fiddling around with that little screwdriver in the rain. I still think there's a place for the barrel connector on super tight panels, but honestly the dugout has won me over for most jobs now. Maybe it's just me, but I used to think the clip would loosen up after a few months, guess I was wrong about that too.
