Can we talk about choosing between a fish tape and a glow rod for a tight drop in a Phoenix attic?
I picked the glow rod for a 20 foot run between trusses last Tuesday and it saved me an hour of fishing around. Anyone have a different go-to for those cramped spaces with blown-in insulation?

Glad the glow rod worked for you, it's my usual pick too. I tried fish tape once up there and spent twenty minutes just trying to get the coil to behave before I gave up. My pride took more of a beating than the insulation did that day. For me, the rigid rod is just easier to push through the fluff without it catching on every little thing.
