Tried letting my crew set their own start times for a month and my concrete finishers showed up at 11am
I run a small concrete outfit in Dallas and figured giving the guys freedom on start times would cut down on the grumbling, but after 4 weeks my finishers were rolling in whenever they felt like it and two pours got pushed back. Turns out most of them actually wanted the structure, they just hated the 5:30am winter starts. Anybody found a middle ground that works for a crew of 7?
