My neighbor said budgeting apps are a waste of time
He argued that writing numbers on paper is better, but my app saved me $400 last month by catching a subscription I forgot about. Anyone else find that tech actually helps them stick to their plan?

Ha, I'm way too forgetful for paper. My app reminds me when bills are due, which saves me from late fees every single month. Your neighbor might be missing out.

Seriously, it's just a tool. If paper works for him, cool, but the app clearly worked for you. Not everything needs to be a big debate.
