Pro tip: I spent 3 years paying $14 for airport water before I noticed the fountain past security
Last month I was at Midway waiting on a delayed flight and paid $13.50 for a bottle of water and a sad granola bar at one of those news stands. Then I walked maybe 40 feet to my gate and there was a water fountain right next to the bathrooms, cold and everything. I stood there feeling like a total clown because I've been doing this at every airport for years. Now I fill my empty bottle after security and save the money for actual food. How much are you all paying for snacks at the gate, or am I the last one to figure this out?
