Rant: my grocery bill for 2 people hit $190 a week in Sacramento and I need help
Last month I sat down with my receipts from the Safeway on Folsom Blvd and added up four weeks of groceries. It came to $760 for just me and my girlfriend, and half of it was snacks and drinks we grab when we're tired after work. I tried planning meals on Sunday but by Wednesday we're ordering takeout because nothing sounds good. What's your go-to cheap dinner that doesn't feel like punishment by day three?
