My grocery bill hit $200 for the first time ever last Tuesday
I went to the store in Springfield just for my normal weekly stuff, and the total made my jaw drop (I usually spend about $130). It was all basics like chicken, pasta, and veggies, nothing fancy. Has anyone else seen their regular shop jump that high out of nowhere?

Man, tell me about it. I grabbed a single bag of oranges last week that cost almost twelve bucks. It's getting to where you need a loan just for produce.

Hold up, @victor_perry90, I gotta push back a little. Those fancy oranges are a choice, you know? The regular ones are still way cheaper. Plus, that bag feeds a family for days, so the cost per orange isn't crazy. It feels like we only talk about the price spikes and ignore all the stuff that's still a good deal. Maybe we're just picking the wrong things to put in our carts sometimes.
