Ngl I think most games make their tutorials too long and hand-holdy, but this dude took the opposite stance way too hard. He was chatting me up at the counter about how real players just dive in, so I skipped the tutorial on my new copy that night. Two hours later I was still stuck in the opening cave, having died 43 times because I never learned the dodge button. Tbh that advice is popular online and it's just bad, the tutorial is there so you don't waste a whole evening. Has anyone else gotten burned by someone telling them to skip the intro?
