A greenhouse owner in Boise told me to bottom water everything, took 3 months to realize that advice ruined my succulents
She swore it prevents rot, but my echeverias got mushy roots because the water pooled at the base and never dried out in the clay pots, so has anyone else found that bottom watering only works with certain soil mixes or am I just blaming the pros for my own setup?
