Spent $250 on a decent welding hood and it changed everything
I used to buy those $40 auto-darkening hoods from the hardware store and just deal with the headaches. Finally got a Jackson Next Gen after my buddy let me try his on a job. The difference in clarity and how it picks up light is night and day. Has anyone else found that spending more on a hood actually saves you time on rework?
