Old timer in Gary showed me a better way to line up tube sheets
Honestly, I was fighting a tube sheet alignment on a 40-year-old boiler outside Gary last fall and this retired boilermaker named Ed just watched me for a bit. He grabbed a piece of chalk and drew a simple crosshair on the sheet, then had me line up my laser against that instead of the edge. Saved me a good 2 hours of fiddling and I've done it that way ever since. Anyone else got a simple trick from an old hand that stuck with you?
