Spent $60 on a 'deluxe' card shuffler and it jammed after three uses
Bought that fancy battery-powered shuffler for our Friday night game group and it ate two cards from my favorite deck before dying completely. Anyone else found a shuffler that actually works for more than one session?
Honestly, "ate two cards from my favorite deck" is the exact nightmare I went through. I had the same crappy experience with those battery powered ones, they're just not built to handle real card weight. What finally worked for me was a cheapo manual hand crank shuffler that my buddy's grandpa had sitting around. It's literally just a plastic box with a crank on the side, cost maybe $15, and it's been going strong for two years now. No batteries, no jamming, just simple gears that shuffle okay enough for poker nights. Tbh I think companies overcharge for the "deluxe" look when all you really need is something mechanical and stupid simple.
