DAE skip drafting your own money cards in board games? A 6 hour session at Gen Con last August sold me
Honestly I used to think drafting your own money cards was a waste of a pick every single time. Then last August at Gen Con I sat down for a 6 hour session with 4 strangers who all drafted money early, and two of them ran the whole table by round 3. The guy next to me pulled 7 money cards in his first 3 turns and never had to pass on a buy the rest of the game. I finished dead last with a fat stack of action cards I could not afford to play. Now I grab at least 2 money cards in my opening picks no matter how boring it feels. Has anyone else flipped on this after getting wrecked by it in person?
