10 years of paper flyers for our block party, and this year a neighbor set up a group chat instead
We used to print 120 flyers at the copy shop on Maple and walk them door to door every August. Last summer our neighbor Dana started a group chat for the street and we still handed out flyers, but the chat is where the real planning happened. We got a food sign up going in about 2 days instead of 3 weeks of knocking on doors and leaving notes. The odd part is the older folks on the block miss the paper on the fridge. How are other streets mixing online planning with the folks who still want a flyer?
