My date's roommate asked one question before we left and it changed how I plan every first meetup
Went on a blind date in Portland 3 weeks ago and the girl's roommate stopped us at the door and asked me where we were going and when we'd be back. I gave her a real answer, a specific spot and a time, and she relaxed and just said thanks. Turns out my date had a bad one a while back where a guy drove her 40 minutes out to a random bar and she had no way to bail. Now I always suggest the place and text the plan ahead of time, plus I keep the first one under 2 hours. Has anyone else had a date's friend grill them like that, and did it bug you or did you get it?
