Two 8 inch files, same steel, and one of them cuts twice as fast now
Got tired of my old mill bastard skating off cold rolled, so I spent 20 minutes on a card and chalk and actually worked the teeth clean instead of just wiping them. Same file, same steel, but the difference after two passes was night and day. How often are you all carding versus just replacing?
