Last Tuesday was the worst day I've had in the forge all year

I had one of those days where nothing went right. I was working on a set of fireplace tools for a repeat customer in Denver, and I managed to screw up the same scroll three times. First I got the heat wrong and burned the metal, then I overhammered it and made it too thin, and finally I dropped the piece on the concrete floor and bent it out of shape. By the time I got the fourth attempt right, I had burned through about 4 hours and wasted maybe $15 in steel. To top it off, I hit my thumb with a hammer while setting up the anvil stand. Has anyone else had a day where you just had to walk away from the forge and come back the next morning?

Hard disagree, some of my best work came after fighting through a rough day.
