My buddy from the job site tried to get me to watch a show about drywall
We were on a break at a new build in Tempe last month, and he pulled out his phone. He showed me a clip from this show where people compete to finish drywall the fastest, calling it 'the most intense thing on TV.' I told him I see enough drywall at work, I don't need to watch it for fun. He kept pushing it for a solid 10 minutes, saying the drama was unreal. Has anyone actually watched a show like this, or is my friend just a workaholic?

What drama could there even be about hanging drywall? It's just mud and tape. Sounds like your buddy needs to find a hobby that isn't his job.

Just mud and tape" is how fights start, man. My buddy and I stopped talking for a week over whether to back-block a ceiling. Tell your friend to buy the first round after work and let it go.
