Vent: my commute went from 25 minutes to 38 after I changed one little thing
For about 6 months my ride to work in Portland was a smooth 25 minutes until I moved my pannier from the rear rack to a front basket setup for easier access at lights. Over the next 3 commutes my time jumped to 38 minutes and I was getting to the office actually sweating, and the only change was that front weight pulling my steering around on the hills. Has anyone else had front loading wreck their commute like this, or is there a trick to keeping the weight low without going back to the rack?
