Tried a hand pump at a gas station vs my $8 floor pump this morning, and I'm never going back
Flat rear tire at 6:15am on my way to a job site in Fort Worth, and the only thing open was a gas station with one of those old coin air pumps. I stood there for 10 minutes wrestling that stupid thing onto the valve, and it barely got me to 50 psi before the tire felt soft again. Got home, grabbed my $8 floor pump from the closet, and had it at 90 psi in about 20 seconds with the gauge actually readable. Never trusting a gas station compressor again, even as a backup. What's everyone carrying for roadside flats, mini pump or CO2?
