Just figured out why my customers brakes kept squealing after 3 years in the shop

I finally realized last week that I was using the wrong grease on the pad contact points all this time. Turns out the shop I started at never taught me to use copper-based anti-seize instead of regular bearing grease. Has anyone else had a senior mechanic drop a simple tip that completely changed how they work?

Three years with the same tub of Lucas red grease for me. That stuff never seemed to run out, I used it on my tractor hitch and a few trailer ball joints. It just stayed put through rain and mud, never washed away like some of the cheaper stuff. I only stopped because I lost the tub when I moved shops.
