Had a client switch from cheap drugstore shampoo to a salon brand for 3 months.
His hair went from dry and frizzy to way more manageable. I could see the difference in texture just running my fingers through it before the cut. Makes me wonder how many other guys are using stuff that's actually making my job harder. Anyone else notice this with regulars?

Oh man, that reminds me of a buddy of mine who used to use dish soap as shampoo when he was in college. Said it was cheap and got the grease out. His hair looked like straw for years until his girlfriend finally threw it away and bought him actual shampoo. The difference was night and day. Sometimes people just don't realize how much damage they're doing because they never try anything else.
