Can we talk about how a rubber band fixed my clipper overheating problem
My Oster 76 was getting hot enough to make clients flinch after about 10 minutes of fading, and I couldn't figure out why. On a whim I wrapped a thick rubber band around the hinge of the blade guard so it held the housing gap open just a hair, and the airflow doubled. The thing now runs cool through a full 30 minute cut, and I've done about 40 heads since with no issues. Anybody else rigged something dumb like this that actually worked, or am I just lucky the band hasn't snapped mid-cut yet?
