Saw a neighbor covering their whole balcony in shade cloth, plants thriving, I do the opposite, who's right?
They said full sun is why my basil bolts by June in Phoenix, but I chase those 8 hours of direct light like it's gold, so has anyone else found partial shade actually beats a south facing wall when you're dealing with reflected heat off concrete?
