Nasturtiums vs petunias, chose the edgy option for my 4ft rail box
I had space for one trailing plant type along the south rail of my balcony in Austin, so I picked nasturtiums over petunias for the peppery leaves and edible flowers. They took off like crazy after a slow first 2 weeks, spilling over the edge and attracting aphids, which the ladybugs then cleaned up. Anyone else swap a classic for something you can snack on and deal with a bit of pest drama?
