My $180 automatic coop door quit after 4 months and locked my girls out in the rain
The motor just died with no warning last Tuesday while I was at work, and I came home to 6 soaked hens huddled on the ramp because the sensor never tripped. I ripped the whole thing off and now I'm just running a manual slide bolt, but I miss sleeping in. Anyone found a brand that actually survives a Pacific Northwest winter?
