Walked the Highline Trail in Glacier last week and the bear grass is going crazy right now.
I've done this trail maybe 5 times over the years but I've never seen the bear grass bloom like this. Whole hillsides are white. Ranger at the Apgar visitor center said it's a peak bloom year, happens every 7 to 10 years. Made the views even better than usual. Has anyone else caught a bloom year on a trail somewhere?
