Why does nobody talk about the new FAA advisory circular on fiber optic inspection scopes?
I had to reference it last month during a pitot-static check on a King Air in Tulsa, and it cleared up a ton of confusion about acceptance criteria. Has anyone else run into this yet?

Finally, someone said it. That advisory circular saved me a huge headache on a recent inspection. Our shop was arguing about connector end-face scratches for weeks, and the new guide just spelled it out plain as day. It's one of those updates that actually makes sense for once.
