Old timer gave me hell for overlooking the obvious...

I was chasing a ghost in a G1000 system for almost two days, swapping out line replaceable units left and right. A retired guy who used to work on steam gauges walked by and asked if I checked the antenna connection. Turns out the coax had a hairline crack near the base... felt like a total idiot. Now I always start with the physical connections before diving into the boxes. Anyone else get humbled by a simple fix that took forever to find?

Read in a maintenance blog that 90% of weird avionics issues are connector related.

@dakota_king80 damn right. Found a loose ground wire on my own bird after swapping three whole boxes.
