That Houston yard taught me to always check the dispatch sheet twice
I picked up a car from a lot off the 610 loop last month and the dispatch sheet said Dallas, but the contract I was handed said San Antonio. I caught it before I merged onto I-45, but just barely, the broker's office was closed and the driver ahead of me had already taken off with the wrong cargo the week before. Now I snap a photo of every VIN and destination before I even start the engine, even if the customer is waving me on. Anyone else had a mixed-up paper trail save them from a 200 mile detour, or am I the only paranoid one out here?
