Pro tip: get 3 quotes and watch how fast the "deal" quote jumps when you ask for a pickup date in writing
I had a broker quote me $850 to move a truck from Phoenix to Denver, then it turned into $1,180 once I asked for a real pickup window and a copy of the BOL. The cheap number was just a hook, and the gap closed the second I wanted anything documented. Has anyone found a way to filter out the lowball quotes before you waste a call on them?
