PSA: paid $140 for a car cover in Riverside that scratched my paint
Got a cheap "all weather" cover from a guy at a swap meet in Riverside for $140, and after two windy nights it rubbed grit all over my hood and left a mess of fine scratches. Body shop quoted me $300 to buff the whole thing out, so that cover cost me way more than just the sticker price. Turns out the liner was rough and it didn't fit tight at the corners, so it flapped nonstop. Anyone know a brand that actually stays put without sanding your clear coat off?
