My kid's bike got swiped from the garage last Tuesday, and now I'm rethinking everything I did to protect my car
Last Tuesday around 6pm someone walked into my open garage in Beaverton and took my son's bike while I was carrying groceries in. It made me realize my car sitting right there was basically wide open too, keys on the bench and all. I spent Saturday installing a motion light and a cheap camera pointed at the driveway, but I keep wondering if that's even the right move. What do you guys do for garage security when the car lives in there too?

keys on the bench and all" is the real problem here, not the bike. A camera and a light just show you the replay after your car is gone. Lock up the house door to the garage first, that's your actual weak spot.
