My paint booth hit 500 jobs last Tuesday and all I could think about was the compressor
Walked into the shop Tuesday morning and my bay log showed job number 500 since we opened in 2019. I thought I would feel proud but mostly I felt tired, because that compressor has been limping along for the last 60 of those jobs and I know it is going to quit on a Friday at 4pm. We did a silver Camry that day and the clear laid down fine, but the pressure kept dipping every 20 minutes and I had to babysit the whole cycle. My guess is the tank is full of water because the dryer cartridge is shot, but I have never rebuilt one of these. Anybody here running an older two stage that started acting up around the 500 job mark?
