My neighbor swore by that foam roof coating and I was skeptical

So my neighbor across the street in East Atlanta told me to put that Gaco roof coating on my flat porch roof. Said it would stop the leaks for good. I thought he was crazy because I had already paid a roofer $400 to patch it last year and it still dripped. I finally gave in and spent like $150 on a bucket of the white stuff and rolled it on myself. That was 8 months ago and not a single drip since. Has anyone else had good luck with that stuff on a flat roof?

Wait, @viola171, wouldn't firing your roofer depend on whether the code had been updated before he did the work or after? That old code thing can get tricky.
