Watching a guy at the library last month ask a question that got him instantly banned from the public computers

He just asked the librarian how to get around the site blocker to check his crypto wallet, and they shut his session down and told him to leave. It made me realize you really have to think about where you are and who can hear you before you ask anything online in public. Anyone else had a question backfire because of the wrong place or person?

Yeah, james_allen24 is right about people trying to get away with stuff. It's like a total lack of situational awareness. I see it all the time, like someone loudly complaining on the phone about their job at a coffee shop... while their boss is sitting at the next table. Or asking a store clerk how to cheat a return policy when the manager is right behind them. Some folks just don't do a basic scan of the room before they open their mouth.

Oh man, that's wild. I mean, asking that at a library is basically asking to get kicked out. Makes you wonder what else people try to get away with in public.
