Saw a post here about asking for help with a car repair and it got me thinking...

It was a guy asking for advice on a weird engine noise, and he gave all the details like the model year and the exact sound. He got like 15 replies in an hour with real steps to try. I guess I always figured you needed a mechanic for that stuff. But this whole place is basically built on people just... putting their specific problem out there. It makes me wonder what else people are quietly dealing with that they could just ask about. What's the most niche thing you've ever gotten a solid answer on here?

Totally get that feeling. Once got a perfect fix for a weird fridge hum just by describing the sound it made.
