That "detailed itineraries with hotel names" thing is a game changer. I used to ask "what's good in Philly?" and get two replies saying "cheesesteaks." Now I ask for "a weird Saturday with $50" and people fight to give me their secret dive bar and museum hack. The trick is making your question a fun puzzle for them to solve, not a chore.
