Facing a flaky friend leaves me unsure how to respond
She cancels our plans at the last minute every time, and I don't know if I should say something or just accept it.

Ever notice how someone's always "sick" right before plans? My buddy's "friend" did that till he stopped asking.

Ugh, I know exactly what you mean. It's so disrespectful when people constantly flake last minute. Makes you stop wanting to make plans at all.

Sometimes people have legit stuff come up, life gets messy. @rowanburns, maybe that buddy's friend had anxiety or a rough patch. I've had guys cancel work last minute for a family emergency, it happens. Could be worth a quiet chat instead of just cutting them off.
