Downtown diner in Buffalo still has the same menu from 1987

Stopped at a place called Nick's on Main Street last Tuesday. The laminated menu is all faded and they still list a liver and onions special for $6.95. My dad used to take me there before school in the early 90s, same stools, same coffee stains on the counter. What got me was the cook, same guy behind the grill, gray ponytail now instead of brown. He remembered my order, two eggs over easy and burnt toast, before I even sat down. Ever walk into a spot and feel like time just stood still while everything else moved on?
