I finally bought a $40 soil screen for my backyard dig and it earned its keep on day one
I was sifting buckets by hand for months near an old farm dump site outside Lawrence, and the screen pulled out 14 rusty nails and a 1920s bottle cap in under an hour. Now I'm wondering if I should upgrade to a bigger mesh size, has anyone tried a two screen setup?
