Visited my old apartment building last week and saw the compost bin I started 5 years ago is still being used by the tenants

I stopped by to pick up a package and noticed the same 5 gallon bucket with the same sticker I put on it is still sitting in the corner of the parking garage, got me wondering how many pounds of scraps that little setup has handled since I moved out.

dude that is so cool! i started a little worm bin at my old place like 4 years ago and when i went back to visit my buddy who still lives there, he said they're still using it and even expanded to a second bin. i had no idea the little plastic tote with holes drilled in the lid would still be going strong. it's wild thinking about all those coffee grounds and veggie peels that got turned into soil instead of just rotting in a landfill.
