Vent: My bokashi bin leaked fermented liquid all over my kitchen floor last night

I thought I had the spigot closed tight on my 5-gallon bucket under the sink, but I came home to a puddle of sour-smelling compost tea seeping into the baseboard, so I ended up scrubbing the floor with vinegar for 30 minutes and now I'm paranoid about leaks - has anyone figured out a foolproof way to keep these bins from dripping?

Dropped an entire pitcher of that fermented juice on my foot last year while trying to drain the bucket. Smelled like someone pickled a dead animal. Still don't have a good answer for leaks, just a lot of towels under my bucket now.

the_abby said "towels under my bucket" and honestly that might be the real solution here. I put one of those cheap plastic boot trays underneath mine now, the kind with the raised edges. Caught a leak last month and it just pooled in the tray instead of spreading across the floor. Still had to wipe it up but way less scrubbing.
