Got a weird tip from my neighbor about using coffee filters in the bin
My downstairs neighbor saw me struggling with fruit flies last Tuesday and said to line the bottom of my countertop compost bucket with a coffee filter, and it actually stopped the gnats from breeding in the drainage holes, has anyone else tried this hack?

Did you try switching to paper towels instead, worked way better for me lol.
