Hot take: haggle at the booth, not the register, after what happened at the Kane County flea market
Last Saturday at the Kane County flea market I paid $40 for a cast iron skillet at the register without asking first, then watched the next guy get the same booth's $65 cornbread pan for $35 just by talking to the vendor at his table. Asking the seller face to face got him $30 off because they can say yes on the spot, while the register kid at the front just reads the tag. Does anyone else work the booth first, or am I the last one paying sticker price?
