Unpopular opinion: SakuraCon 2019 was overrated and I'm tired of pretending it wasn't

Waited 45 minutes in line for a panel that got cancelled and the main hall was so packed I couldn't see any booths. Has anyone else had a con that just felt like a waste of money and time?

Man my buddy Dave had the exact same experience at a different con a few years back. He drove like six hours to get there, paid for a weekend pass, and spent the whole first day waiting in line for a workshop that got canceled after an hour. The main dealer room was wall to wall people and he could barely even see the cosplay contest because they stuck it in a tiny room. He ended up just walking around the hotel lobby for two hours before calling it quits and driving home early.
