I just realized I've posted in over 100 different anime episode discussion threads

I mean, I was cleaning up my saved posts and the number kinda shocked me. It matters because I can now see how my own takes on shows have changed over the last couple years. Has anyone else hit a forum milestone that made you look back?

What did you notice changed the most in your opinions? I hit 500 posts on a game forum last month and it was wild seeing my old hot takes. I went back and read some and cringed hard. It's a weirdly good way to track how you grow out of certain phases.

Actually, looking back at old posts just shows how much you used to care. Those strong opinions meant you were really into the topic, even if you were wrong. Changing your mind feels like growth, but sometimes it's just getting tired and giving up on having real takes. Maybe the cringe is good because it means you still have some passion left to feel embarrassed about. What if staying the same is better than becoming someone who never stands for anything?
