Am I the only one who thinks the manga version of Chainsaw Man hits harder than the anime?
I burned through the first 8 volumes of the Chainsaw Man manga in about 3 days after watching the anime adaptation, and the pacing difference is wild to me. The anime stretches out certain fights with these long atmospheric shots, but Fujimoto's panel flow in the manga makes the same scenes feel way more frantic and punchy. The Katana Man arc especially just moves so much faster on the page, and I keep wondering if I'm alone in this or if other folks here felt the same gap between the two versions. Which adaptation vs source material comparison hit you hardest like this?
