Started using zip ties instead of velcro for outdoor panels and the callback rate dropped hard
After 3 years of velcro failing in the Texas heat and getting chewed out by a customer in Plano, I tried zip ties on every exterior screw terminal and sensor link, hail damage be damned, and my service callbacks dropped from about 8 a month to 1, but has anyone else found zip ties biting into wire insulation over time in colder climates?
