Got zapped by a customer's pet snake during a panel swap

I was swapping out an old DSC panel at a house in Austin last Tuesday and the homeowner's boa was loose in the utility closet, which I didn't find out until it wrapped around my ankle mid-wire pull. The snake wasn't harmful but I jumped back, yanked a zone wire loose, and the keypad started screaming a false fire alarm for 20 minutes while the customer laughed from the couch. Anyone else ever had a weird animal moment on a job that made you double-check every corner before touching terminals?
